Atalanta are actively seeking to bolster their defensive options, with Udinese defender Thomas Kristensen emerging as their primary transfer target. While Kristensen remains the favoured choice, Atalanta has also identified West Ham's Jean-Clair Todibo as a potential alternative. Udinese’s technical director, Gökhan Inler, addressed the speculation during the Friuli Venezia Giulia Cup. While Inler acknowledged that there is interest from other clubs, he remained cautious regarding a potential exit. "He’s our player; as long as he’s here, he’s an Udinese player," Inler stated. The defender's importance to the current squad was underscored during the same tournament, where he captained Udinese in their 1-0 victory over Barcelona.
