Arsenal are currently involved in discussions with Galatasaray that have brought the availability of Nigerian international striker Victor Osimhen into focus. Reports indicate that these talks occurred while the two clubs were negotiating regarding Gabriel Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri. While Galatasaray has submitted an official bid of £38 million for the Brazilian winger, it remains unclear if the club's forward was formally offered to the Premier League side or if his name was raised by Arsenal’s sporting director, Andrea Berta.

Although Arsenal maintains a long-standing interest in Osimhen, and the player has also been linked to north London rivals Tottenham, a summer transfer currently appears unlikely. The Gunners remain focused on strengthening their forward line before the transfer window closes next month. However, manager Mikel Arteta has cautioned that there is no certainty regarding new arrivals. Following a pre-season draw against Como, Arteta remarked on the difficulty of the market, noting that there are very few players available who could improve the current margins, though the club continues to look for opportunities.

Meanwhile, the potential move for Gabriel Martinelli to Turkey remains in a pending state, with Galatasaray currently awaiting a response from the Gunners. It is not yet known if the player is open to the transition to the Turkish league. As the transfer period progresses, Arsenal continues to evaluate their options in an effort to enhance their squad for the upcoming campaign.

Now, in a surprising turn of events, the Telegraph have reported that during discussions between two clubs for the 25-year-old and Ethan Nwaneri, Osimhen’s availability was brought up amid the possible scenario of Nigeria international moving to Arsenal.
