Hull City Secure Signing of Swedish Forward Elliot Stroud

Hull City have finalized the acquisition of 24-year-old forward Elliot Stroud from Mjällby AIF for an undisclosed fee. The Swedish international, who holds an English father, has committed his future to the Tigers by signing a contract that runs until 2030, with an additional option for a further season.

Reflecting on his move to the club, Stroud expressed his enthusiasm, stating that he is super happy and excited to begin his tenure in Hull. He noted that once he learned of the club's interest, it became his primary objective to complete the transfer. A conversation with the Chairman further solidified his positive impression of the organization and its environment.

Regarding his personal aspirations, the forward emphasized his desire to compete at the highest possible level. He acknowledged that an opportunity of this nature is not something to be taken lightly, describing the move as a very exciting development in his career. Prior to his departure for England, Stroud demonstrated strong form during the 2026 Swedish season, where he made 16 appearances for Mjällby AIF and contributed seven goals.
