NFL running back Raheem Mostert is currently managing a significant transition in his professional career following his departure from the Raiders, but his personal life has been marked by a joyful update. His wife, Devon, announced the birth of their second daughter, Lyla Rae, via an Instagram story on Thursday.
Devon shared the news with a brief message stating, "And…. baby sister is officially home." A subsequent post highlighted Mostert’s role as a father, showing the athlete holding his two daughters simultaneously, with his elder daughter, Remi Loella, wrapped against his chest. Devon praised her husband’s parenting, calling him a "Superrrrr dad and his girlies." The couple also shares three sons.
The pregnancy, which resulted in the birth of the family's fifth child, had been kept private until March 27. At that time, Devon revealed the news through an Instagram post featuring a video of their children holding sonogram photos, captioned, "Over halfway to meeting baby girl #2 The Mostert FIVE coming summer 2026!”
Outside of family life, Devon has been vocal on various public topics. She issued a bold statement on Maryland coach Brenda Frese and star guard Oluchi Okananwa’s fiery moment during a March Madness matchup against North Carolina. Earlier this week, Raheem Mostert celebrated his wife’s birthday with a tribute on Instagram, to which Devon dropped a 4-word reaction: "My world. thank you!"
The Mostert family maintains close ties with other NFL figures, including Tua Tagovailoa and his wife. Devon previously shared a tribute to the quarterback following his departure from the Dolphins before he signed with the Atlanta Falcons. Meanwhile, Raheem Mostert remains in the midst of free agency with only one month remaining until the start of the 2026 NFL season.
Hope you have the best day!” Mostert wrote.
