Vaibhav Sooryavanshi led the chase with a sensational 18-ball fifty, becoming the youngest player from a Full Member nation to reach a maiden men's international half-century. His aggressive approach saw him hit multiple boundaries, including a notable swivel-pull for six off Richard Ngarava. Although Abhishek Sharma fell early, Sooryavanshi continued his assault, with Ishan Kishan also contributing 35 off 24 balls to guide India to 126/3.
