Broadcasting rights for the tournament are split among several networks. FOX and NBCUniversal hold the rights for the 78 games played in the U.S., as well as the 13 matches each in Canada and Mexico. FOX will air 40 matches during primetime. For viewers with a TV antenna or access to the network channel via smart TV, 70 matches will be available for free, while the remaining games will air on cable.
Spanish-language coverage includes 92 of the 104 matches available for free on broadcast television, with the remaining games airing on cable. For cord-cutters, the opening match on June 11 between Mexico and South Africa, along with the United States' opener against Paraguay on June 12, were made available to stream on ad-supported services.
The U.S. men's team navigated a group stage consisting of Paraguay, Australia, and Turkey. The team defeated Paraguay 4-1 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, on June 12. They followed this with a 2-0 victory against Australia at Lumen Field in Seattle on June 19, clinching a spot in the Round of 32. Their final group stage match ended in a 3-2 loss to Turkey at SoFi Stadium. Subsequently, the U.S. won their Round of 32 match on July 1 in Santa Clara, California, defeating Bosnia and Herzegovina 2-0.
The tournament officially kicked off on June 11 in Mexico City with Mexico playing South Africa. The U.S. and Canada played their first matches on June 12 in Los Angeles and Toronto, respectively. The group stage concluded on June 27, with the knockout rounds beginning the following day.
