During his postgame press conference, he stated that he respects the rules and the logic behind keeping players healthy, but noted that he is still puzzled by the frequency of these checks every time he takes a hit. Despite his frustration, he noted he was happy with how the offensive drive concluded.

Eluemunor remarked that if a typical quarterback took that same hit, it likely would not have garnered much attention, but because it involves Jaxson Dart, he expects the situation to be blown out of proportion.
