The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 44, made a family appearance at the Commonwealth Games, currently being held at the Hydro Arena in Glasgow, Scotland. They were accompanied by their three children: 12-year-old Prince George, 11-year-old Princess Charlotte, and 8-year-old Prince Louis.
During the outing, the Princess of Wales wore a green blazer paired with a striped black-and-white top. Prince William opted for a simple gray suit and a blue dress shirt. The children were dressed in coordinated outfits, with Prince George in a white dress shirt and Prince Louis in a blue one, mirroring their father’s style. Princess Charlotte wore a buttoned white-and-black polka-dot dress.
The global multi-sports event, which takes place every four years, features a variety of competitions including para-swimming, weightlifting, artistic gymnastics, cycling, boxing, and wheelchair basketball. The Commonwealth Games were officially opened by King Charles and Queen Camilla on July 23.
This visit follows a previous royal outing on July 12, when William and Kate attended the Wimbledon Championships in London with George and Charlotte. Prince Louis was absent from that particular event, which saw the family in the royal box for the men's singles final. That event drew numerous high-profile figures, including Jennifer Lopez, Nicole Kidman, Andrew Garfield, and Anna Wintour.
The Princess of Wales has maintained a consistent presence at the Wimbledon finals since 2024 as she recovered from cancer. Other members of the royal family have also been active at the tennis championships, with Queen Camilla attending alongside her sister, Annabel Elliott, on July 8, and Pippa Matthews appearing in the Royal Box on July 6. The Prince and Princess of Wales previously attended the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England, which marked the debut royal outing for Princess Charlotte at age 7.
