JD Vance Develops Independent Political Platform for 2028 Run

United States Vice President JD Vance has begun efforts to establish a new political alliance aimed at reaching disaffected voters as he looks ahead to the 2028 presidential election. According to a report by Fox News Digital, which cited sources familiar with the strategy, Vance is shaping an independent political platform in response to the Republican Party’s significant losses during Tuesday’s midterm elections.

This strategic shift includes expressing distinct views regarding United States foreign policy and the current nature of Washington’s relationship with Israel. A source close to the internal post-election discussions noted that a White House meeting was held on Wednesday morning to harmonize messaging among administration officials. Following this gathering, Vance utilized the X platform to share a list of four core priorities identified by a pollster as essential for regaining voter support: ending the war in Iran, addressing inflation and living costs, prioritizing an "America First" agenda, and reevaluating the relationship with Israel.

"The reason we lost is the war," Vance wrote on X, while referencing the conflict with Iran and noting that the president had acknowledged the situation the previous night. A White House official confirmed to Fox News Digital that these four directives serve as a rallying cry for the "new right," a faction rooted in the original "America First" movement that argues US foreign policy has become too closely tied to Israel.

The official clarified that this positioning does not represent a break from President Trump. Instead, it is intended as targeted outreach to voters who support the president but feel alienated by his international engagements. Describing the move as a method to consolidate the next generation of conservative leadership, the official stated, "Vance is our guy."
